CLUB PREVIEW - Banbridge Rangers play at home in the league for the second week in a row this Saturday and will be looking to consolidate top spot with a win over Seagoe. Kick off at Cheney Park is at 2.15pm with Rangers hoping to avoid a repeat of last season where a last minute equaliser from the Craigavon team put promotion out of their hands.
The Reserves will host Coagh United Reserves at the Tech on Saturday with kick off at 2.15pm with the Swifts playing away to Donacloney Reserves at the same time.
The Under 18s were scheduled to play Markethill Swifts away this Saturday but this still has to be confirmed by the Juvenile League during the week. The Under 13s will hopefully have a game this Saturday after three call offs in a row when they play Lurgan Town at Gordon Playing Fields with kick off at 10.30am.
The Under 10s and Under 8s fixtures will appear on the clubs facebook page on Thursday afternoon. The Cubs Mini Soccer is on at Havelock Park from 10-11am on Saturday and caters for all boys and girls from P1-P7.
SEMI FINAL DERBY - Banbridge Rangers will play Moneyslane in the Semi Final of the Alan Wilson Cup after their derby rivals managed to overcome Hanover at Cheney Park in the quarter finals on Saturday past. After the bumper crowd at the previous meeting all eyes will be on a rematch to see if Moneyslane can get revenge or if Banbridge Rangers can make it to the final to defend the title that they currently hold. The match will be scheduled in early March with Moneyslane having home advantage.
FITNESS TRAINING - Banbridge Rangers training for senior members takes place at Cheney Park on Monday and Thursday nights from 7-8pm with £2 covering both nights. For anyone looking to extra fitness work the club has enlisted the services of Andy Ward who will be running sessions over the next few Tuesday evenings from 8-9pm at the new gym on the Lurgan Road. Club members can attend at a cost of £1 each with non members able to come at a cost of £2 each.
