Dromore Ladies try out rugby for the first time

A VERY enthusiastic group of ladies turned up to try rugby for the first time at Dromore RFC last Monday evening.

Various degrees of fitness were shown by all who turned up to a very lively and fun filled night. Barry Steenson and Nigel Dale were very pleased with the first nights training.

Barry said, “A lot of the girls had never tried rugby before but all showed great skill in catching and passing during the different team drills. We will have more fun exercises next week which we hope everyone who turns up will enjoy.”

A light supper was provided by Alec Morton Contracts, Thyme Square and inhouse services who are supporting this new team at Dromore Rugby Club.

Training runs from 7-8.30pm for all ages and everyone is welcome to come up and try rugby every Monday night at Barban Hill, Dromore.
