Colin and JP top the times again in Bann’s Two-up Time Trial

Ten teams took part in the final race of Banbridge CC’s Mac Trophy Two–Up Time Trial three race series on Wednesday evening.

A return to the 11 mile Banbridge-Giford-Scarva-Banbridge circuit saw Colin Crangle and JP Rice post their second ‘best on the night’ actual time of the series and an unexpectedly high number of DNFs on account of both mechanical and physical problems.

Nathan Sturrock and Ewan Anderson were first on handicap time. It was good to see TVR rider Joanne Kerr and partner Charlie Glover sampling the delights of the two up mode of time trialling and both were very welcome. Next week sees the start of the individual 10 mile TTs.
