THERE was a fair attendance of members present when Dromore Outdoor Bowling Club got their season under way.

President Hugh Maxwell welcomed old and new members and wished everyone a good bowling season.

Hugh then asked his wife Joyce to deliver the first jack and bowl. Vice President T Ogle presented Mrs Maxwell with a small gift to mark the occasion.

A competition was held but owing to the weather conditions had to be called off.
