BANBRIDGE Town will draw up a hit list of names tonight (Tuesday) and a new manager will be in place within the next fortnight.
That's the prediction of Town chairman Andrew Cully who this week begins the search to find Michael Lamont's successor who was sacked last week.
"An extraordinary meeting has been called for tonight and we will look at the names of possible replacements for Michael," said Andrew.
"We don't have anyone in mind at this stage but I have been encouraged by the amount of interest which has been generated by the vacancy.
"Managing Banbridge is now an attractive proposal and we have Michael and John Easton to thank for that.
"It is important we get our new man as quickly as possible so we can prepare for next season.
"I also want the job filled before other club begin to think we are rich pickings in terms of taking players from us."
Banbridge have also applied to the Mid-Ulster FA to register a reserve side in the association's first division.
"It is vitally important we get a second team up and running this year and our new manager will have to work closely with him," said the chairman.
Definately leaving Crystal Park this week are Ryan Evans and Aaron Baker.
Ryan has signed a two year deal with Lisburn Distillery while Loughgall and Dungannon are chasing the signature of Baker.
It's understood Loughgall are also keen to sign Ally Evans and Ricky Copeland.
"On behalf of everyone at Banbridge we would like to wish Ryan all the best, he has been a tremendous player for us and thoroughly deserves his chance to play in the Premier League," said Andrew.
Ryan has vowed to return to finish his career at his home town club.

"I want to thank Banbridge for all they have done for me especially Michael Lamont for his help and guidance," said Ryan.
The right winger returns to pre-season with the Whites on June 2 as they prepare for their InterToto trip to Finland on June 19.
"I am delighted to get Ryan on board. He's very quick and direct and has good feet. He will be a good addition to the squad," said Distillery manager Paul Kirk.
"Jackie Delaney reccommended him to me and we have followed that up and I am pleased that Ryan has agreed terms with us."
