Nominations for McNamee awards wanted

THE GAA are currently accepting nominations for the 2008 McNamee Awards.
The McNamee awards are organised on an annual basis and acknowledge excellence in the area of public relations, communications and GAA media coverage.

Thank you to those who have already submitted entries.

Entries are now being accepted under the following categories: Best Local Radio Programme; Best Website; Best County Programme; Best GAA History Publication; Provincial Media Award – best GAA article/feature in provincial publication; National Media Award - best GAA article/feature in national publication; Best Photograph - best GAA-themed image from 2008; Irish Language Award – best piece of journalistic work as Gaeilge; Best Modern Technology Innovation – for use of modern technology in relation to the promotion of GAA activity; Hall of Fame Award – in recognition of outstanding service and a long standing contribution to GAA journalism

The closing date for entries is Wednesday July 15, 2009.

All entries should be sent to: Alan Milton, GAA Headquarters, Level 6, Páirc an Chrócaigh, Baile Átha Cliath 3. Websites can be nominated by email to alan.milton@gaa.ie
