IT has been a very quiet week in the A McLean Bookmakers Premier Division.
The one match that did take place was that between Banbridge Legion and Market Bar. A very confident Market travelled to the Legion knowing that maximum points would keep within touching distance of the title.
This confidence was more than evident on the table when they completely dominated the match from start to finish, they won the first seven games on the sheet.
The one reply for the home team was that of Pete Dean in a consolation eighth game. The Market winners are too numerous to mention but the two points now has them positioned in second place.
The postponed matches between Mulholland's and Anglers, McGrath's and Castle Bar are to take place this week.
The committee wish to express their sincere condolences to Castle Bar captain Gordon Magennis and the Magennis family circle on a recent family bereavement.
