Year 9 pupils set feet on the business ladder

Two dedicated groups of Year 9 pupils have just completed their Quick Start business challenge and have impressed a formidable line-up of judges as they pitched their products in the Dragon's Den competition today.

The girls, who developed decorated picture frames and beautifully presented lucky dip beakers, gave Cormac, Ben and Ethan, who produced stationery in Banbridge Academy House colours, a run for their money as they presented their business plan and an account of their profits.

The boys fought back with a convincing sales pitch however and narrowly beat the girls at the final hurdle to secure the Dragon’s winning vote.

The Dragon’s commended the pupils on their success and were very impressed with the range of skills which each group displayed during the competition.
