The SDLP’s Councillor Marie Hamilton has highlighted what she believes to be the great potential of the Banbridge Revitalisation Project.
Previously welcomed by Ulster Unionist Councillor Joan Baird, the project was outlined and launched at a recent meeting in Banbridge.
Councillor Hamilton spoke up at last week’s August monthly council meeting.
She said she had attended the launch and thought it was “wonderful” that Banbridge traders might avail of new shopfronts.
She was enthusiastic too about the prospect of temporary shops and their potential in affording new businesses the opportunity to showcase their products.
