Time to get Government which works - Morrison

“A select few have been singled out for special treatment by government when it comes to the Social Investment Fund,” he said. “Stormont seems to be working for them. The Red Sky affair would suggest that Stormont is working for certain property developers. If you have a wood pellet boiler and are abusing the Cash for Ash scheme Stormont is probably working for you too.

“But if you are a pensioner who is told you should be grateful for your bus pass, you are unlikely to regard Stormont as working for you. If you or someone in your family are one of the 40,000 people waiting more than 52 weeks for a first outpatient appointment you are unlikely to regard Stormont as working for you. If you are one of the unemployed, you are unlikely to regard Stormont as working for you.

People are fed up with the lack of delivery, the squander and the deadlock.

“I am standing to give those people who hold Stormont in such low esteem the chance to answer back.

“TUV is proposing that we get rid of the Executive and its Special Advisers and replace them with British Ministers with the vital difference from conventional direct rule that they are accountable to the Assembly.

“TUV offers voters the chance to drain the swamp.”
