Tequila Mocking-bird played their debut headline show in Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms in November 2010, where they sold out the venue. Since then, this eclectic bunch of Edinburgh University music students have played in some of Scotland’s most prestigious venues including one of the year’s biggest parties in Edinburgh Castle in May 2011, as well as a headline show in the musical mecca that is Edinburgh’s Jazz Bar.

The band have recorded and self-released their debut single, ‘El Gato’, which has received much praise from Scottish music-lovers and is due to be released for digital download in July, and is also available to buy at shows.
