All roads lead to Solitude Park, Banbridge on Saturday 14 March for the annual St. Patrick’s Family Fun Day!

Banbridge District Council will host a fabulous fun filled event in Solitude Park from 2pm – 4pm, with lots of activities for all.

Activities on the day will include face painting, balloon modelling, treasure hunt, climbing tower, fun inflatables for children and young people, or why not have a go at one of the arts and crafts workshops where you can make a funky foam badge or create a unique flower arrangement for your extra special mum just in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday 15 March.

If you’re looking a bit of a time-out from the shenanigan’s why not pop into the Storytelling tent and listen to Spring Tales for all the Family with Liz Weir, come along and listen to stories of fairies and leprechauns, of magic and enchantment.

Fans of feathered friends can spread their wings and visit the World of Owls animal displays where they can meet a colourful collection of owls, birds of prey and exotic creatures.

Everyone will be entertained by Banbridge Community Chamber Orchestra and Choir, who will perform a fantastic fusion of music.

Previous BuskFest Winners, Worn Down Shoes, make a welcome return to Banbridge when they hit the stage and keep the party going with their fantastic mix of lively blues and country rock.

And if that’s not enough local group Parcel of Rogues will also be bringing their own brand of fine foot tapping folk to the show.

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy this free event which is supported by Banbridge District Council Good Relations Programme
