Over 100 students at the Southern Regional College received their awards at the Banbridge Campus for the Further Education Celebration of Achievement evening recently.

Mr Brian Doran, Chief Executive of SRC, welcomed students, their family and friends, as well as guests to the event which celebrates their success.

Mr Doran told the students, “The ceremony marks the culmination of very many hours, indeed years, of hard work and commitment from all of you present. The awards you will receive were not easily obtained and you should feel very proud of your achievements.”

Student of the Year and Special Achievement Awards were also among the accolades presented on the evening.

A spokesperson for SRC revealed, “Southern Regional College offers a wide range of courses which can be studied on a part-time or full-time basis. The College is committed to widening participation and welcoming students of all ages and backgrounds.
