Opening takes place of Gilford projects

The official opening has taken place of two Banbridge District Council projects in Gilford.

Investment, from the Down Rural Area Partnership under the NI Rural Development Programme, of £120,000 was given towards the Stramore Park Way project and £46,685 towards the new climbing wall and installation of acoustic panels at Gilford Community Centre. The Stramore Park Project total cost for Phase 1 is over £300k and included the upgrade of the path at Bridge Street to walking and cycle trail standard. The indoor climbing wall cost around £62k.
