Paul said: “We’ve been surprised by the take up on it and we’ve noticed that Amazon has sold out of it a few times. It’s doing well, so now we just hope it continues.”

Launched by avid swimmer and renowned Hillsborough artist, Neil Shawcross, at the Cardan Bar and Grill, Lisburn, Neil spoke of the health benefits he has found from outdoor swimming.

Paul said: “In promoting the book, Neil spoke of how some years back the doctor had recommended him to have a flu jab but he refused, telling him he gets a flu jab every week. He went on to tell the doctor that every week he takes a swim in Strangford Lough and he’s had no flus or colds over the years.

Paul added: “The book launch went really well and we were pleased with it.”
