Welcome for NIIRTA U-turn from Bridgewater developers

A SPOKESPERSON for the developers of Bridgewater Park, Land Securities and Stoney Properties, commenting on the decision by NIIRTA to withdraw its judicial review, said:

“We are delighted at the news about the Judicial Review, this is great news for Bridgewater Park and Banbridge.

“We now need to review all of the legal and statutory documents to ensure that there are no more surprises, we are hopeful that we will now be able to push forward quickly, with Tesco, to start construction of the project.

“We need to say a big thank you to the Banbridge Community and the local elected representatives who have played such a key role in getting NIIRTA to reconsider its position and ultimately to recognise the wishes and needs of the community.”
