Ulster Bank open until 7pm on Friday

BANBRIDGE’S Ulster Bank branch will be open until 7pm this evening (Friday, June 29) as the company continues to work through the backlog of payments caused as a result of the IT issues experienced in RBS Group.

The company say they are making progress on this and are confident a full service will be restored for the start of next week.

Information from Ulster Bank’s website says: “To help us facilitate your requests, please bring photographic identification, your account details and payslip with you.

“We have also doubled the number of staff available in our call centres. Our dedicated help desk is open 8am to 10pm to take your call on 0800 231232. If you are calling from abroad please call +442890843556.

“We confirm that no customer will be out of pocket and there should be no adverse impact to customers’ credit ratings as a result of this incident.”

Meanwhile the branches in Lurgan and Portadown will be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am-3pm, while the Lisburn branch will open this Sunday from 10am-1pm.
