Sweet charity for Mothers’ Day

IN the run up to Mother’s Day Dromara’s EuroSpar is encouraging customers to think differently with their gifts this year, and try baking from the heart with the help of the NI Cancer Fund for Children’s Hug in a Mug Recipe Book.

Packed full of baking ideas, each donated by charity supporters, the book inspires budding bakers to don their aprons and get creative in the kitchen in time for Mother’s Day..

Dromara store manager Sara Quinn, said, “We are delighted to be able to raise funds for such a worthy charity. In the run up to Mother’s Day and all this week, our staff will play dress up and we will be hosting coffee mornings to raise even more money, with special home baked treats to be served up from recipes within the Hug in a Mug Recipe Book.

“The book itself is only £5, with every penny donated straight to NICFC, and is a source of great inspiration to bake up something sweet this Mother’s Day for afternoon tea, or a tasty dessert for after the Sunday roast.”
