Man threatened by three at door of flat

POLICE in Banbridge are appealing for information following a report of criminal damage in the Brookefield Road area during the early hours of Saturday, June 9.

It was reported that three males had caused damage to the front door of a flat around 1am. Police believe the occupant of the flat disturbed the culprits as he returned home and was then threatened by them.

Stones were also thrown at his car, causing damage to the door and front wing of the vehicle. The men then made off on foot towards Edenderry Park.

One of the assailants is described as being of medium build and wearing a blue-hooded top, jeans and training shoes. His accomplices are of slim build, in their late teens and were wearing black-hooded tops.

Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
