Drumlough amenity site upgrade welcomed

LAGAN Valley MLA Paul Givan and Downshire Councillor and Planning Committee vice-chairman Paul Stewart have welcomed the approval of a refurbishment programme for Lisburn City Council’s Drumlough Civic Amenity Site.

In a joint statement they said, “This approval of a tender for over £90,000 will grant much needed improvement to the amenity site at Drumlough.

“While the amenity facilities at The Cutts, Dunmurry have been meeting the publics’ needs for many years, the site at Drumlough has not been maintained to the same standard.

“This improvement scheme will provide a more user-friendly site for the ratepayers of Lisburn City while also creating a more modern facility.”
