Craft fayre to launch

LOCAL crafters have set up a Co-Operative to hold craft fayres once a month in Banbridge Town Hall.

Iveagh Quality Food & Craft Fayre has been set up by six local crafters from the Banbridge/Dromore area.

They are a non profit making, cross border community co-operative hoping to provide quality and variety to the shoppers of Banbridge and to give a platform for other local crafters to put their crafts on show.

They have chosen to support local children’s charities.

A spokesperson said, “We hope to build a regular, successful food and craft fayre which will become well known and hopefully bring more shoppers into our town.”

The Craft Fayre will be held one Saturday each month (usually the first Saturday in the month) upstairs in Banbridge Town Hall from 11am to 4pm. The first one is Saturday 9th February and a warm welcome is extended to all. Entrance to the public is free
