Candidate Lutton had victims role

THE man selected to be the Unionist unity candidate in Mid-Ulster was a former Victims campaigner in Rathfriand with South Down Action for Healing Wounds.

Nigel Lutton’s experience includes working with victims through WAVE and on the victim side of things in the office of Upper Bann DUP MP David Simpson.

Nigel, who was born into a security force family, lost his 39-year-old RUC Reservist father when he was aged just eight.
