Armed robbery at Hillsborough business

POLICE in Lisburn are appealing for information after a report of an armed robbery at business premises at the Dromore Road, Hillsborough on Thursday 27 September.

Around 10.10 pm, it was reported that two males in their early 20’s entered the premises both armed with knives. A sum of money was taken during the incident.

The males are described as 5’ 6” and slim build, both males were wearing dark hoodies.

No one in the shop was injured, but members of staff were left badly shaken. Enquiries are continuing.
