A man has been charged with a series of robberies which happened in Northern Ireland and the Republic between June and August.
Police said the 34-year-old was detained in the Banbridge area of Co Down last Wednesday
He has been charged with offences including three counts of robbery and five counts of theft.
It is understood the charges relate to a number of incidents which took place from June 22 to August 25 on both sides of the Irish border.
The accused was due to appear before Newry Magistrates Court last Friday.
