A total of 20 candidates will seek nine seats on Nenagh MDC

The count for the Banbridge DEA in the local government elections has been finalised.

It’s been a good day for the Ulster Unionists with the party taking three of the seven seats, the DUP two and Sinn Fein and the SDLP taking a seat apiece.

The councillors elected in Banbridge are Glenn Barr, Ian Burns, Elizabeth Ingram all UUP, Paul Greenfield & Junior McCrum DUP, Brendan Curran SF & Seamus Doyle SDLP.
