Senior level employees who find themselves unemployed or facing redundancy are being offered the opportunity to discover and develop their own potential business ideas and skills.

The ‘Options’ training programme is targeting department directors and senior level employees who find themselves displaced in the present economic climate and is being rolled out across the South East Economic Development (SEED) area which includes the seven councils of Armagh, Banbridge, Newry, Craigavon, Down, Ards and North Down.

In all, seven workshops will take place across the SEED region and Best Practice visits will be carried out encouraging the participant to think about the wider market available and benefit from developing new professional circles.

Existing businesses which themselves grew out of redundancy or mid-life career changes, will also deliver presentations at special lunchtime networking events.

To find out more about the ‘Options’ Programme contact Eileen Stewart at Armagh Business Centre, Eileen@abcarmagh.com or telephone 028 37525050.
