Mr Beattie’s 15-month-old grandson Cameron Tindale died suddenly during the week and his funeral is taking place today.

Mrs Dobson was re-elected to Stormont after the eighth count at Banbridge, following the elimination of a number of unionist candidates from smaller parties.

Here is a full video interview with Mrs Dobson shortly after her election.

She is the third to be elected.

Yesterday DUP candidates Carla Lockhart and Sydney Anderson were elected as MLAs for Upper Bann.
