Sessions for pre-school children are held in the local Orange Hall from 10:30am - 12:30pm every Monday, but the service could be extended if there is sufficient demand.

The DUP representative described the launch of the group as “a great addition for the community in Blackskull.”

Speaking after visiting Jellybeans, Ms Lockhart said: “This is a great addition for the community in Blackskull. I have been lobbying for them to get a more regular bus facility and I hope that this will give this a push forward and also increase the ability of parents to use the day care. It is great to see the hall being put to daytime use and I commend the members of the lodge for being so amenable to this.”

She added: “I hope many more children over time will get to use this great facility. I want to ensure that the Blackskull community does not feel cut off and has ready access to all the provisions of the larger towns around it. This is the first step and I am delighted at the vision of the women who set this up.”
