Last week, over 100 people across the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon area got involved in a brand new initiative designed to help members of the public get to know their local police officers.

‘Coffee with the Cops’ is organised by Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Policing and Community Safety Partnership and they recently held sessions in Portadown, Banbridge and Armagh giving people the opportunity to have a cuppa and a chat about whatever concerns they may have – no matter how small.

The Mobile Police Unit aims to be an accessible means for people to come and ask for advice on any issues that may be worrying them and so far has proved to be very successful.

The Unit will rotate around the town centres with the next on November 30 at Lurgan Plaza.

Keep an eye out for future dates and venues!
