Ulster Unionist councillors Glenn Barr and John Hanna have urged the public to get out and visit their local library.

Their call comes after they visited the refurbished library in Rathfriland along with Councillor Barr’s children.

Councillor Barr said, “We were absolutely delighted to see such a wonderful transformation .

“This is a really beautiful library and does Rathfriland proud, it is so full of light and will be such an attraction to young and not so young alike.

“We would encourage everyone to make the most of this superb facility with very welcoming and friendly staff.”

John and Glenn went on to wish the library and staff every success in the future.
