Dromara housewife Mrs May Doreen Cairnduff, of Katesbridge Road, died recently, aged 58, in Belfast City Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

She is survived by her husband Alan, daughter Mrs Louise Jardine and husband Richard, grandchildren Adele and Sophia, brother Mr John McLoughlin of Katesbridge Road, Dromara and sister Mrs Brenda Lundy, Lisburn.

Mrs Cairnduff was a member of the congregation at First Dromara Presbyterian Church and a former Sunday-school teacher, choir member and GB officer. The Rev Shaw Thompson officiated during her funeral at First Dromara, Mrs Myrtle Meeke presiding at the organ. Hymns were The 23rd Psalm and What a Friend we have in Jesus. Funeral arrangements were by John Gamble, Dromore and donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, may be sent to John Gamble, Funeral Director, 7 Meeting Street, Dromore, BT25 1AQ, for First Dromara Presbyterian Church Sunday school.
