There have been reports of widespread traffic disruption and fallen trees this morning (Thursday) after Storm Doris hit last night.

Fallen trees and branches have affected a number of roads including the Tullylish Road in Gilford, the Northway, Portadown and Featherbed Road at its junction with the Brankinstown Road in Aghalee.

Other roads listed by TransportNI which are blocked/partially blocked due to fallen trees in the southern area include Killylea Road and Maydown Road, Armagh;

Banbridge Road, Gilford; Lismore Manor, Craigavon; Glenanne Road, Markethill and Dromore Road, Lurgan.

Traffic lights were also reported to be out at the Silverwood junction in Lurgan, with motorists urged to exercise caution.
