Police in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon are focusing on reducing burglary and reducing your chance of becoming a victim of burglary during September.

Officers will be conducting high visibility and anti-burglary patrols and aim to visit some of the more isolated in our communities to provide reassurance and crime prevention information.

Commander for Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon, Superintendent Davy Moore, said: “Over the coming weeks we will be focusing on raising awareness of burglary and encouraging householders to be more security aware.

“We want you to feel safe in your own community but we also want you to be aware that thieves and burglars will seize any opportunity for an easy steal.

“We will increase our patrols and provide you with advice on protecting your home however our best weapon against the burglar is information.

“As part of our focus we are asking you to work with your neighbours and keep an eye on your local neighbourhood. If you have concerns or need advice, phone us.
