Man is charged with possessing and supplying cannabis

Robert Curry, whose address was given as Reilly Park, Banbridge, appeared last Wednesday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon courthouse.

The charges against him allege that on April 5 this year he was in unlawful possession of a class B drug, cannabis, and that he had the drug with intent to supply it to another.

He is also accused of possession of criminal property namely cash to the value of £4,800 or thereabouts.

Curry was remanded on his own bail of £500 to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on January 12 next year.
