On August 3, Scripture Union volunteers return to Newbridge Integrated College for another week of Connect holiday bible club.

A week of fun-filled activities including an all-ages ‘onesie’ cinema night on the Wednesday, biblical teaching, songs and games will conclude with a community BBQ on Friday 7.

To save congestion on Monday morning, pre-registration is taking place on Saturday 1 from 2pm to 4pm at
Newbridge.

Parents and guardians can print off a form in advance by visiting the connect Facebook page, or alternatively forms will be available at registration.

Parents are reminded that children aged 4-11 are welcome to come from 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 12-17 year olds from 7pm to 9pm each evening.

Scripture Union Northern Ireland is seeking to work within the community to connect local people with the local Church, the Bible and each other.

Over 1,000 volunteers are working with SU this summer across Camps and CSSMS in addition to the work done in schools throughout the year.

The Team of volunteers will also attend local church services on Sunday 2 and parents, neighbours, family and friends are warmly invited to join us for a coffee morning on Tuesday 4.

For more information see the Connect facebook page, visit www.suni.co.uk or call Johnny Stewart on 07746901005.

Local church leaders are fully supportive of the work of SU and parents are assured that every member of the team has had all of the appropriate background checks, child protection training.

First Aiders and Special Needs co-ordinators will also be on site at all times.

The full programme of activities is provided free of charge, however lunch is not provided so please ensure you bring a packed lunch
each day.
