Laurencetown, Lenaderg and Tullylish Community Association has something for everyone this festive season.

The official Christmas lights switch on takes place on Saturday December 6. Proceedings begin at 3pm with a free family Christmas lantern-making workshop in Laurencetown Community Centre (booking not required). At 4.30pm there will be a stroll to the Christmas tree at the Point with carols and a short service from local clergy, followed by the official light switch-on. A family party in the community centre at 5pm ends the day.

Laurencetown Pre-School Playgroup will celebrate the season with its annual Christmas Fayre on Friday 5th December at 7pm in Laurencetown Community Centre. Entry is £1 per adult and 50p per child.

To round off the festive programme, LLTCA is hosting its annual Senior Citizen’s Christmas dinner on Thursday December 18, at 7.00pm in the community centre. Local seniors are invited to enjoy a sumptuous spread with entertainment. Tickets are currently on sale for £7 and available at Laurencetown Community Centre.
