Sleigh Bells will be ringing in Banbridge Town Centre on Friday November 28 at 6.30pm as Santa and his little helpers will be making a special visit to the annual Christmas lights switch on event.

Come along and watch the Polar Express on the big screen as The Cut is transformed into an amazing outdoor cinema guaranteed to get you into the Christmas
Spirit.

Or get your dancing shoes on as the Cool FM Roadshow will be blasting out some festive favourites that will have you rocking around the Christmas tree as well as offering the chance of winning some great spot prizes.

Following on from the success of ‘One Foot Square’, the pop-up art gallery, local artists will once again be displaying their artwork at a one-off pop-up Art Exhibition, so why not get a one-off unique master piece and tick another Christmas present off
your list.

At 7pm the local Clergy Fellowship will lead the traditional Carol Service followed by Council Chairman, Councillor Marie Hamilton flicking the switch and lighting up the Christmas tree at the heart of the town centre.

The highlight of the evening will be the arrival of Father Christmas. With his sack brimming with Christmas cheer the main man will be meeting the local children to find out what they want for Christmas and just who’s on the naughty and nice list.

Christmas shoppers will have added festive fun as their present hunting will be accompanied each Saturday throughout December from 2pm – 3pm with a selection of seasonal sounds provided by the finest in local concert bands, details of which are as follows:

Saturday 29 November - Banbridge Silver Band.

Saturday 6 December - Warrenpoint Silver Band.
