TEMPORARY RELOCATION OF DIVISIONAL VETERINARY OFFICE

NEWTOWNARDS Divisional Veterinary Office, situated at Robert Street, Newtownards, closed on 25th January.

As a temporary arrangement, from yesterday (Monday 28th January) until further notice, all existing Robert Street services will be provided from the Department's offices at 2B Portaferry Road, Newtownards.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has sought alternative premises and considered a number of alternatives for some time. However, due to current market conditions it has not been possible to secure alternative accommodation in sufficient time for the departure from the existing office.

Office hours for the Divisional Veterinary Office will remain 9.00am to 4.00pm except Wednesday when office hours are 10.00am to 4.00pm to accommodate staff training.

All Service Delivery Group (SDG) queries should be directed to 028 9181 3570. The SDG Office will continue to be open to the public on Monday mornings only, from 9.00am until 12.30pm or by appointment.
