Local entrepreneurs and those thinking of starting a business benefited from the valuable free advice provided by an array of local experts at the event. The event also provided the perfect opportunity to find out the range of business support available to start up and existing businesses.

On hand to offer business advice throughout the day were experts from local banks, solicitors, accountancy and financial services, NI Business info, Health and Safety Works, Labour Relations Agency, Equality Commission, Lisburn City Council, InterTrade Ireland and Lisburn City Centre Management.

The Lisburn Business Link initiative is delivered on behalf of Lisburn City Council by Lisburn Enterprise Organisation and is part financed by Lisburn City Council and the European Regional Development Funder under the Sustainable Competitiveness Fund for N.I. 2007-2013.

Alderman Dillon, Chair of the Council’s Economic Development Committee comments, “Lisburn City Council is delighted to co-fund this event which offers local businesses the opportunity to find out more about starting or running a business.
