“Taylor is only 10 years old and he is motorbike mad. He’s heartbroken by it all and it is so frustrating that someone would take his bikes,” he said.

“Some people have already been in touch who think they spotted them.”

Police confirmed they were investigating the burglary.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a burglary at a property in the Edenderry Terrace area of Banbridge sometime overnight Tuesday night, 24 May.

“It was reported that sometime between the evening of Tuesday 24 May and the morning of Wednesday 25 May a shed was entered and three off road scrambler type motorbikes were stolen.
