Banbridge will look pink for Action Cancer, on October 3 with all kinds of interesting decorations around the town and in the shop windows.

There will be a prize for the best Pink Window display and already many traders are already planning their windows.

The event is organised by Banbridge Action Cancer, who would like to thank the town traders for the fantastic enthusiasm in planning raffles, pink days and coffee mornings.

The Action Cancer Big Bus mobile screening service will be at the Leisure Centre that day while all the Paint the Town Pink events will be taking place.

To book an appointment for The Big Bus please phone Action Cancer on 028 90 80 3344 or www.actioncancer.org

Members of the Banbridge Action Cancer Group have been working hard over these past few months and are pleased to see their plans all coming together for what promises to be a fantastic weekend.

Expect to see some out on the street on Friday 2October with their creatively decorated pink buckets.

You are asked to drop into their Pop Up Shop in Newry Street that will be selling handbags, scarves and jewellery.
