Banbridge Library is urging locals to get 2016 off to a good start at ‘Healthy Bites Week’, January 11-16.

Kicking off the week is Craft and Chatter, about learning and developing new craft skills - takes place every Monday and is suitable for adults.

Tuesday, January 12 sees Healthy Storytime focus on health and wellbeing for four to eight year olds, from 3.30- 4.30pm and a Healthy Poetry and Pancakes Session from 6.30 - 7.30pm.

On Wednesday, January 13 it’s‘Wild About Books’ with healthy snacks and surprise activities for seven to nine year olds, from 3.30 - 4.30pm.

Thursday,January 14 seesHealth Fair taking place from 11am - 3pm, offering free health and hearing checks, health advice, and more.

Thursday also features the adults Board Games Group, meeting from 10:30am–12:30pm.

Also, GO On: Your Health Online, is from 10:30am – 12:30pm, exploring the Health in Mind website and othersites for reliable help, hints and tips.

Friday , January 15 features - Unwind with an Alternative Coffee Break – enjoy healthy substitutes to caffeine, from 2pm - 4pm and Saturday 16 January brings the week to a close with a Mindfulness Adult Colouring session from 10am - 1pm.

Admission to the events is free and everyone is welcome.

Booking is essential for many of the events.
