Still chance to show off your talent

ANYONE with hidden talent has still got the chance to show it off in public, with final auditions for this year’s ‘Banbridge Has Got Talent’ show taking place on Saturday.

The grand final of the popular competition takes place on Friday, 17th February, at Seapatrick Parish Centre and last-minute hopefuls can audition this Saturday (February 4) at the Meeting Rooms in Dromore Street from 2pm until 3.30pm.

Father Tony Corr, organiser, encouraged local people to support the venture. “The competition is open for all types of acts, such as solo singers, duets, groups, dancers, dance teams and more,” he said. “We put on this show last year and it was a big success, with Pauline Downey taking the title.

“I would encourage anyone interested in performing on stage to come along and give it a go. We have a very experienced and neutral juding panel for the final to make the competition as fair as possible for all of the competitors.”
