Final night for talent show

THE last acts have now been chosen for the final of ‘Banbridge Has Got Talent’ which takes place this Friday, February 17.

Seapatrick Parish Church is the venue for the special evening which starts at 7.30pm and features a wide range of acts, including singers, dancers, trumpet players and guitarists.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three acts as chosen by the judges who have already had a difficult job whittling down finalists from several weekends of auditions.

Organiser Father Tony Corr, who will act as host for the final, paid tribute to the range and quality of all the talented people who came forward to audition.

He said, “We have a wide range of acts for this year’s final which includes Niamh Brown on trumpet, Aaron Duggan playing the guitar, dancers Elle Balchin, Niamh Smylie, Caitlin McGarity and Dearbhla McGarity and solo singers Haley Lennon, Maeve Farrell, Joseph Watters, Nadia McConville, Kayla Lennon and Matther Burke.

“We also have an all-girl singing group featuring Eimear McMullan, Lily McGrath, Caitlin Kearney and Claire O Keefe.

“I would like to thank everyone who came and auditioned and I wish all the acts the best of luck for the final.”
