Residents urged to join adult care debate

RESIDENTS of Banbridge District are being urged this week to join the debate on the future of adult care and support.

To facilitate that debate the Southern Health and Social Care Trust is hosting a public meeting in Banbridge Health and Social Services Centre next Wednesday, January 30.

Welcoming the public consultation document ‘Who Cares? The Future of Adult Care and Support in Northern Ireland’, Angela McVeigh, Director of Older People and Primary Care for the Southern Trust, called on local people to take part.

“I would encourage everyone to read the consultation document,” she said, “and join the debate on Wednesday 30 January at 7pm in Banbridge Health and Social Services Centre.”
