Plans for Dromore Jubilee event
A PUBLIC meeting is to be held in Dromore with a view to planning a Diamond Jubilee event in town.
Any interested groups, churches or individuals are asked to attend a preliminary meeting on Wednesday, 15 February, at 7.30pm in the Church Street offices of Dromore in Action.
The aim of the meeting is to consider a suitable type of event which could be organised collectively as a town.
Dromore in Action believes some funding will be available through Banbridge District Council and a spokesperson said the view was that a joint application for funds would be better than a number of individual applications.
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and express their views.
