Loughbrickland Connect returns

LOUGHBRICKLAND Connect returns to Newbridge Integrated College on the August 6 for the fourth year.

Parents are reminded that primary age children are welcome to come from 10am until 3pm Monday to Friday, and post primary children from 7pm until 9pm each evening.

Connect are seeking to work within the community in Loughbrickland to connect the community with the local Church, the Bible and each other. This year we will be having an Olympic-themed look at Mark’s Gospel and Scripture Union leaders have great plans to play games, sing songs, learn about God and have a great time.

Scripture Union Northern Ireland are also well known for their work within Schools and the Camps and CSSMs which take place throughout the summer holidays.

The Team of volunteers will also attend local church services this Sunday and parents, neighbours, friends and family are warmly invited to join us for a BBQ and parents night on Friday August 10.

Local church leaders are fully supportive of the work of Scripture Union and parents are assured that every leader has had all of the appropriate background checks, child protection training and First Aiders will also be on site at all times.

The full week’s programme of activities are free of charge and parents are reminded to arrive slightly early on the Monday morning to allow time for registration.
