Historical society goes back to your roots

WHO are you? That is the question which will be posed to those attending the next meeting of Banbridge Historical Society on Thursday February 2. Ian Mxwell, a genealogy researcher who was previously employed by the Public Records Office (PRONI) will give an illustrated talk on the methods used to identify one’s ancesters.

In his research he scans many documents such as old census forms, local records of births, deaths and marriages and church registers.

This meeting will be held in Banbridge Library at 7.15pm sharp and everyone is welcome.
