THE Women’s World Day of Prayer service in the Banbridge district will take place on Friday night (March 1) at Bannside Presbyterian Church.

The service begins at 8pm and the guest speaker is Mrs Nathalie Wilson. Everyone is welcome to this interdenominational event which is not just for women.

This year’s programme of worship has been prepared by women in France.The theme chosen by them is ‘I was a stranger and you welcomed me.’

France receives many asylum requests and behind each request is a story. Some of these stories will be shared at the service.
